Three conferences in one

CRC Global conference is actually three conferences in one. It comprises;

  • The main conference for adults
  • Wildhearts Youth Conference for youth and young adults
  • Kidz Ablaze Children’s Conference for pre- and primary school aged children

Conference venues

The main conference and Kidz Ablaze will be held at Christian Family Centre Seaton (185 Frederick Rd, Seaton, SA)

Wildhearts Youth Conference will be held at PortLife Church (1 Causeway Rd, New Port, SA).

Both sites are in the western suburbs of Adelaide and have ample car parking, and all meals included in the registration price will be served in the on-site facilities. There is 6.5 kms between the 2 venues (about 10 minutes drive).

Both venues are accessible using the train network from the city of Adelaide.

Registration

Delegates are responsible for paying registration fees prior to the start of the conference. The registration fee structure is:

  • Full registration – $300 Main Conference, $150 Youth Conference
  • Early Bird registration $260 Main Conference, $130 Youth Conference – for registrations made by 31/5/2017 and paid in or before the first week of September.
  • Special price registration $220 Main Conference, $110 Youth Conference – for registrations made and paid for prior to 31/12/2016.
  • Day delegates can register for $100 per day Main Conference, $50 per day Youth Conference
  • Discounts available;
    • Group discount of 10% for groups of 10 or more registering together (not available for Special price registrations)
    • KIDZ ABLAZE – $80 for first child in the family, $55 for second child in the family, $30 for third and subsequent children in the family.

All delegates (except by negotiation) must complete registration at their conference venue prior to the start of the conference. Registration times will be publicised at a later date.

Registration cancelations

Pre-paid registrations can be cancelled without penalty up to a fortnight prior to the start of the conference, and a refund received in full. Cancellations that occur less than a fortnight prior to the start of the event will incur a cancellation fee of $100 per delegate to cover expenses (such as catering, conference delegate packs etc.)  already incurred by the conference organisers.

Accommodation

Accommodation arrangements are the responsibility of delegates. Lakes Resort Hotel at West Lakes (3.5 kms from CFC Seaton, 4.5 kms from PortLife) is offering reduced rates for conference delegates (see CRC website for details). Many cabins are also available at Adelaide Shores (adelaideshores.com.au) which is 7.5 kms from CFC Seaton and 13 kms from PortLife. Adelaide offers many other accommodation options within 30 mins drive or both venues.

Meals – Main and Children’s conferences

Lunch and Afternoon tea will be provided for all delegates on Tuesday 3rd, Wednesday 4th and Thursday 5th October.

Dinner on all evenings will be the responsibility of the delegates. We are planning to provide a number of different options at the Seaton site to allow delegates to purchase food without leaving the venue. There are, however, many possible places to eat for all tastes and desires within 15 minutes of the venue

Separate documents outlining the program for the three conferences will be published on the website once the details are confirmed.

Children’s Conference

All children will need to be signed in after lunch, and signed out before dinner each day. They will need to signed in again after dinner for the evening session.

All parents will need to complete a separate online registration form to provide necessary details to leaders.

Some International delegates will be sponsored to attend the conference, namely the leaders of our National Church Movements in countries other than Australia. These leaders will have their airfares and conference registration fees covered, and will be expected to minister in a CRC church on the weekend immediately following the conference. Any offerings or gifts received during this time of ministry will be used to allay the costs of the sponsorship. International leaders will also be required to attend the International Leaders Gathering on Tuesday and Wednesday 11th and 12th October.

Other international delegates are responsible for paying their own registration fees prior to the start of the conference. The registration fee structure is:

  • Full registration for delegates who reside outside of Australia – AUD120

All delegates (except by negotiation) must complete registration at their conference venue prior to the first conference session.

Letters of Invitation

Letters of invitation can be provided by the conference organisers upon request in order to procure a visa to enter Australia. In order for this to occur registration fees will need to have been paid in advance, and a copy of the identification page of the delegate’s passport provided.

The conference organisers take no responsibility for unsponsored delegates whilst in Australia or for the decisions of the Australian Department of Immigration for the provision of a travel visa.

Accommodation and transport

We have an accommodation option available for delegates from outside Australia. Accommodation will be provided at Adelaide Christian Centre, with;

  • All meals provided
  • Transport to and from the conference venue provided
  • Check in Saturday 30th September between 12 and 3 pm at ACC
  • Check out Friday 6th October between 9 am and 12 noon
  • Above option is FREE and is available for delegates from outside Australia only.

 Please let the conference organisers know if you wish to take up this accommodation option.
