What an incredible time we had at the Victorian and Tasmanian church planters TOOL SHED last weekend. Participants of all ages, diverse ethnic back grounds and different stages of ministry joined together. The new format gave ample time to make strong connections over the weekend with many of them having opportunity to minister in different churches and church plants on the Sunday.

During the weekend we talked together and shared of possible new church plants coming very soon and areas that God had placed on peoples hearts. As we went though some of the notes prepared by Bruce Sharman, it was said “I wish I had the opportunity to be here years ago … I feel confident that with this support I can do something like a church plant”.

One of the outcomes was that we all should encourage Seniors Pastor to attend to see what support is available. It was also suggested that those who are just starting out in ministry (youth Leaders, Children’s workers, study group leaders) be encouraged to attend to see if it would begin to spark something in their lives.

A resounding feedback from those who had planted churches was “I wish I had been coming to the TOOL SHEDS for years BEFORE I planted… I would have had a better idea what to expect and also who I could call on…”

So why not plan to be at the next TOOL SHED in your area.

What people said about the TOOL SHED…

“We heard amazing stories of God’s provision, souls saved, healings and churches established” Marg

“Hearing from different pastors who have adopted different models into their social context has inspired me” David.

“You can’t build the house without tools… the impact from the speakers was excellent… dialog and interaction was also fruitful”. John
