Here in Tassy we have enjoyed another good year, GLORY to God.

Our State Pastors meetings have been a great encouragement to us all with good ministry from Bill Vasilakis, Mike Cronin and several others through this year; our relationships are really healthy amongst Pastors and Launceston, Burnie and Risdon have all had building / renovations programs this year and it’s fantastic to see facilities and ministries expanding around this great State.
We sadly said goodbye to Rod and Margret Garland and family who have been an amazing blessing to our State. They recently moved to Adelaide for ministry and an itinerant future, we look forward to hearing how God uses them. The work they were previously leading in Wynyard is doing well and under the covering of Burnie church leadership.

Launceston City View Church under the leadership of Kim Jaeger has just completed massive extensions and alterations which has given them a fantastic facility and they are ready for some real growth. They are dedicating these new facilities on October 20th.

The Christian Family Centre Church in Hobart with Norm and Cathy Reed leading is doing well and breaking new ground in working with our prison system here to build relationships both with the church and through inmate mentoring programmes and new accommodation has been built to house the visiting families of inmates. This work is unique and new for any state so we are privileged to have the opportunity to work with these people, ‘Well done’ guys in Hobart.

I also want to commend the guys at Ravenswood, Bridgewater and Ross all faithfully serving God and the people in those areas. We’re blessed here and excited to be part of what God is doing and to serve the people of Tassy.
