International Delegates

Conference venue

The conference will be held at Kingston City Church, 316 Kingston Road, Clarinda, VIC which is in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

The site has ample car parking, and all meals included in the registration price will be served in the on-site facilities

Registration

Some International delegates will be sponsored to attend the conference, namely the leaders of our National Church Movements in countries other than Australia. These leaders will have their airfares and conference registration fees covered, and will be expected to minister in a CRC church on the weekends immediately before or after the conference. Any offerings or gifts received during this time of ministry will be used to allay the costs of the sponsorship. International leaders will also be required to attend the International Leaders Gathering on Friday and Saturday 12 and 13 October.

Other international delegates are responsible for paying their own registration fees prior to the start of the conference. The registration fee structure is:

  • Full registration for delegates who reside outside of Australia – AUD120

All delegates (except by negotiation) must complete registration at the conference venue between 11.30 am and 1 pm on Tuesday 1st October.

Letters of Invitation

Letters of invitation can be provided by the conference organisers upon request in order to procure a visa to enter Australia. In order for this to occur registration fees will need to have been paid in advance, and a copy of the identification page of the delegate’s passport provided.

The conference organisers take no responsibility for unsponsored delegates whilst in Australia or for the decisions of the Australian Department of Immigration for the provision of a travel visa.

If you require a letter of invitation, and have paid registration fees and provided a copy of the passport, please contact Peter Gillard (crc@crcchurches.org) for a letter of invitation.

Registration cancelations

Pre-paid registrations can be cancelled without penalty up to a fortnight prior to the start of the conference, and a refund received in full, minus any bank or transfer fees incurred. Cancellations that occur less than a fortnight prior to the start of the event will incur a cancellation fee of the full registration fee of 100AUD per delegate to cover expenses (such as catering, conference delegate packs etc.) already incurred by the conference organisers.

Accommodation and transport

Accommodation and transport arrangements are the responsibility of international delegates.

Travel Insurance

All delegates attending the conference from outside Australia are responsible for organising their own travel insurance for the whole time they are in Australia. The conference organisers will not be liable for any expenses arising from a delegate attending the conference and a medical or other emergency occurring during this time. The conference organisers may request evidence of travel insurance from international delegates as a part of the organisational process.

Meals

Afternoon tea and Dinner will be provided for all delegates on Tuesday 1st, Wednesday 2nd and Thursday 3rd October.

Lunch will be provided for all delegates on Wednesday 2nd and Thursday 3rd October.

Lunch on Tuesday 1st October will be the responsibility of delegates. They can either have something to eat prior to coming to the venue, or bring some lunch with them to have on-site.

If delegates have any special dietary needs to food allergies, they need to advise the conference organisers at the time of registration (email crc@crcchurches.org)

Break-out Streams

The program allows for four sessions each of the three days of the conference. The first (after-lunch) session each day and the final (evening) session will be for all delegates. The evening session will also be open to the public.

The two afternoon sessions on Tuesday and Thursday, and one session on Wednesday will be divided into the four streams;

  • Pastors and Leaders
  • Youth leaders
  • Young Adults Leaders
  • Children’s Leaders

Each stream will have its own dedicated program. Delegates will be asked to nominate their chosen stream at the time of registration. Please note that the streams will not necessarily be having 5 break-out sessions at the discretion of the organisers.

Electives

One session on Wednesday will eb set aside for electives. There will be six electives on different topics, and delegates can make their choice at the conference which of these they would wish to attend. Elective topics will be advertised closer to the conference dates.

Conference Program

See separate document on the CRC website for details of the conference program and timing.

Children’s Program

A program will be provided for pre and primary school aged children as a part of this conference. All parents are required to complete NATIONAL CONFERENCE CHILDRENS REGISTRATION FORM (download separately) and return with registration.
