I have just heard today of the sad news of Margaret’s passing. On behalf of the CRC Churches and Pastors, may I pass on our condolences and prayers to Pr Ron Inglis and his  family.

Together Ron and Margaret have brought the impact of God into so many lives, particularly during their season of leadership at the Gawler CRC.  I remember as well the time that they had at Stirling CRC and the faithful contribution they always made as a couple. In fact that is the recurring remembrance I have of Margaret, as Ron’s committed helpmate, always beside him, faithfully supporting him in ministry. They were a team together in your service of the Lord and in life. I am sure Ron will profoundly miss his companion of all these years and we pray the Lord will support him now in his grief and loneliness.

However, we do not grieve as those who have no hope! In fact we say with the apostle Paul “death, where is your sting and grave your victory.” We live in hope of the resurrection and our lives reunited in eternity, free of our mortality, enjoying the presence of the Lord forever. We look forward to hearing over Margaret’s life the proclamation “Well done good and faithful servant”, for that she was!

May the Lord sustain Ron and all as a family and guide you all through the days ahead, providing the comfort and support only He can give.

The prayers and goodwill of all your CRC church family and pastors is toward you all.

A letter to Ron Inglis from the National Chairman

Dear Ron,

Deepest condolences my dear brother on Margaret’s passing on to Heaven to be with her Saviour Jesus.

I am presently in Pt Moresby PNG and have just received the news of your loss.

May you experience the comforting presence of the Holy Spirit in a special way tomorrow as you celebrate Margaret’s life with your family and friends.

Ron you are in my prayers at this sensitive time, and on behalf of our CRC National Executive and all your fellow Pastors who know and love you, we salute Margaret as a wonderful wife, mother, grandma and faithful servant of Jesus.
