Last Sunday 15^th September 2019, Loris Faggoter passed away to be with her Lord and Saviour. Together with her husband  Alwin, who died some years ago, Loris helped pastor CRC churches in SA for more than twenty years in Mt Compass and Port Lincoln. In retirement, she and her husband fellowshipped at the Christies Beach CRC.

Loris will always be remembered for her devotion to Christ and the sensitive and caring way in which she cared for people. For many years a Sunday School teacher, one of her early pupils was a young Ben Matson, now the CRC Pastor in Alice Springs. Hundreds of children and families have been ministered to and impacted by this outstanding couple of faith.

Their devotion to Jesus was testified to at her funeral when three of her grandchildren spoke of their faith and it now being outworked in their children as a result of the Godly influence of Alwin and Loris’ lives.

We honour Loris in her passing as a wonderful woman of God. She leaves behind a legacy of faith in her three sons and daughter, twelve grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
