On behalf of the CRC International in SA, WA, NT, I bring the prayers and encouragement on the passing
of Ned Carmichael to be with his Lord. He was a faithful soldier of his Lord and a man who gave himself
wholeheartedly to the cause of Christ.

From his early days of association with and ministry in Alice Springs to his extended leadership and
support in the church in Goolwa, Ned’s association with the CRC has always expressed a deep
commitment to ministry and his serving of its people. Having always given of himself and his resources,
he exemplified faithfulness and a dedication to His Lord. He had a deep heart for his community and
through a long life of service, impacted so many.

From his American roots, he brought a rugged tenacity of faith and a dogged determination to his life
that saw him achieve and facilitate so much. He will be missed deeply by the Goolwa Church and
community. Ned always seemed to have been there and will be deeply missed. Whether leading, or of
more recent years in the background, his influence was felt by so many as he served his Lord and His
people.

On behalf of all the churches and pastors around our movement, we join in bringing what we know will
be Heaven’s accolade, “Well done good and faithful servant”!
