A major initiative of the National Council is a Model Local Church Constitution to help all our existing churches and to provide a template for all new local churches when they incorporate legally.

Good governance is essential in churches and yet it also can become quite complicated. In recognition of the need to provide much better protection to all our churches, we have developed this accompanying model which embraces the autonomous-interdependent ethos of our CRC movement.
